Banana-oatmeal cookies

Yet again I bought too many bananas and they’re overripe now… what to do, what to do… no time for banana bread, but I won’t throw them away (I hate throwing food away). Sickeningly sweet, sticky … I know! I’ll make some quick, delicious oatmeal cookies!

„True story” – as they say. The idea came to my mind after I recently made 2-component banana-oatmeal pancakes (yes, name says it all ;-)). I thought that I might as well prepare a little more dense mass, form round cookies and bake it. I crushed my overripe bananas quickly, threw cereals in, mixed well and put into the oven. After 20 minutes they were ready – insanely delicious, quick and simple banana-oatmeal cookies. Perfect post-workout snack.

RECIPE

The cookies are made in 25-30 minutes – for the first 5 minutes you preheat oven and mix the ingredients, a the remaining time is for our oven to do. We spend only 5 minutes working and that’s the best in it, cause they taste as if we spent a hell of a time making them.

INGREDIENTS (ca. 8 cookies):

  • 2 bananas ( 200g)
  • 2 cups (110g) oatmeal
  • handful (30g) raising

PREPARATION:

  1. Mash bananas well with a fork.
  2. Add oatmeal and raisins ot the mass. Mix well.
  3. Bake in the oven at 180 C for about 20 minutes.
