Another recipe I want to share with you is „protein pancakes” – brilliant and simple breakfast providing everything you need for breakfast. The flavour depends on available protein supplement (it can be neutral as well – in that case use your favourite spices – eg. Cinnamon, ginger, cocoa, etc.). Pancakes are delicious on their own, but you might as well throw in your favorite additives or some spread (I usually use peanut butter or cream cheese).
RECIPE
They are prepared in a blink of en eye, and for that I love them – filling breakfast in 10 minutes.
From the proportions below you get approx. 7 pan14cakes – one person portion
INGREDIENTS:
- 40g wholemeal flour
- 20g protein supplement (I used chocolate)
- 100g greek plain yoghurt
- 1 egg
- 1/3 tbsp baking powder
- favourtie additives
PREPARATION:
- Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl and mix. The dough should be slightly thicker than for crêpes.
- Preheat the pan. You can grease it with the paper towel soaked in oil.
- Take a spoonfull of dough and spread it gently on a pan (I usually make 3 pancakes at a time).
- Serve with your favorite additives or pack into a container and take it with you as a lunch.
